Welcome! The Florence 1 Schools Early Childhood Program offers a variety of curriculum and services for preschool-aged students at our two Child Development Centers. We serve 3K and 4K students until they transition to elementary school for Kindergarten. Our students are set up for success in reading and math and receive opportunities for physical and emotional development.
Our school day is from 7:45am - 2:15pm. After 7:45am, a student is considered tardy. Extended Day Academy (EDA) is available for students who need afterschool care after our dismissal time.
Child Early Reading and Development Education Program (CERDEP) Attendance Policy--We want all enrolled children to attend regularly. However, if a child misses more than ten consecutive "unexcused/unverified" days of school after the 10th day, the placement opens to another student on the school's waiting list.
